About Andersen Ag

Andersen Ag is backed by more than a century of local farming experience. Owner Jacob Andersen can trace his agricultural roots back to 1883, when his family began farming in the Centerville area.

A farm kid himself, Jacob took on the family legacy in 2008 when he began farming with his father and brother. Their operations consist of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, wheat, cattle, and hogs.

In 2017, Jacob became a certified Pioneer Sales Representative and started Andersen Ag. Beginning as a seed dealership, Jacob’s business has grown in recent years to include valuable services like J&R Feeds and Precision Planting®.

When asked what sets Andersen Ag apart from other agencies, the answer is easy for Jacob. “I make sure I am always available to my growers. Even if the lights are off, I’m just a phone call away and ready to help solve whatever farming challenge they’re facing.”
